ICT and Statistics Unit

This Unit perform the following activities:- Implement ICT and e-Government Strategy; Develop and Coordinate Integrated Information and Communication Technology for the Institute; Ensure that IT hardware and software are well maintained; Provide support on procurement and purchase of software and hardware in the Institute; Establish and Coordinate use of Electronic mail Communication on LAN and WAN; Carryout studies and propose areas of using ICT as an instrument to improve service delivery to the TPRI; Analyses and interpret statistical data in order to identify significance in relation to sources of information; Plan data collection method for specific project and determine the types and sizes of sample group to be used; Identify relationships and trend in data as well as any factors that could affect the results of research; and Be custodian of statistics.
