Pesticides and Environmental Management section

This Section perform the following activities:-

Verify quality of pesticides formulation; Carry out comparative risk assessment on pesticides; Monitor pesticides health and environmental hazards; Monitor pesticides residues in commodities including food and feeds; Study on the generation of pesticides residues data for determination of Maximum Residue Limits (MRL) in agricultural crops and soils and respective mitigation measures; Evaluate pesticides application equipment; and Prepare and participate in development of research proposals.
